2008 Grandest Alumni Homecoming (MARCH 15, 2008)

Grand alumni Homecoming '08 shall be part of the documentary film of the life of our founder, Servant of God, Monsignor Aloysius Schwartz, who is on the process of beatification and canonization.

Grand Alumni Homecoming ’08 will be held on March 15, 2008. As informed by our Sisters, the Papal Nuncio, His Excellency Edward Joseph Adams, would come on this great occasion for the Holy Mass and the blessing of the Tomb of Fr. Al (whose death anniversary is March 16, and this date has been traditionally our Grand Alumni Homecoming).

Our alumni from all parts of the globe are encouraged to go back and offer our bouquet for Fr. Al to pay him a tribute. Our families and children are welcome home, too!

Holy Father,

God of our yesterdays, our today, and our tomorrows.

We praise You for Your unequaled greatness.

Thank You for the year behind us and for the year ahead.

Help us in Your new year, Father, to fret less and laugh more.

To teach our children to laugh by laughing with them.

To teach others to love by loving them.

Knowing, when Love came to the stable in Bethlehem, He came for us.

So that Love could be with us, and we could know You.

That we could share Love with others.

Help us, Father, to hear Your love song in every sunrise,

in the chriping of sparrows in our backyards,

in the stories of our old folks, and the fantasies of our children.

Help us to stop and listen to Your love songs,

so that we may know You better and better.

We rejoice in the world You loved into being.

Thank You for another new year and for new chances every day.

We pray for peace, for light, and for hope, that we might spread them to others.

Forgive us for falling short this past year.

We leave the irreparable past in your hands, and step out into the unknown new year knowing You will go with us.

Time to go party! But this time, enjoy a beautiful sight seeing, and socializing with our fellow alumni (non-alumni friends may join) in a relaxing hot spring of Villa Rey Resort at Pansol, Calamba, Laguna.

Let us, however, remember that aside from the usual building of “camaraderie” among our fellow alumni, our foremost goal is also to raise fund for our organization.

We are inviting you to share your early Yuletide moment with our Sisters of Mary brothers & sisters.

There would be Php200.00 entrance fee. It’s really Christmas time! Time to share…. Coz - It’s going to be “BYOB” Bring-your-own-baon (and share…)!
